Warum Laura?
Laura is a person, and children feel at home with her. Laura is a grown-up, yet she has retained her childlike joy of discovery.
She loves to play and is a great friend to the children. With her talents and gifts, she carefully creates an environment in which children feel comfortable and secure. This sense of connection lays the foundation for individual development.
“The greatest gift we can give children is our mindfulness.”
Jon Kabat-Zinn
All information about the Laura Room:

For whom
The project is aimed at parents of the Mission Love Academy who want a place outside the family for their child where mindfulness-based development is possible.

Where & How
The Laura Room's offerings are currently taking place in Kilb, Lower Austria. There's a large building, horses and plenty of animals, meadows, nature, and plenty of space. Each offering can be booked individually.

Your child will spend time with Laura (and, for some programs, Christina) in a small group. All programs (holiday week on the farm, weekends in nature, weekly meetings, etc.) can be found in the newsletter or members' area.
The Laura Room is neither a substitute for school nor another home-learning group.
It is a place where your child can develop safely and freely—without objectification.
Gerald Hüther put it aptly:
“Children learn best when they are allowed to feel like subjects – when they perceive
that they themselves are the designers of their lives.”
We observe this truth every day when our children learn not for grades or recognition, but for the sheer joy of discovery—and don’t even “know” they are learning.
Children are naturally curious, creative, and full of joy (just like us adults). They have everything they need for growth and development—if we give them the space.
For us, therefore, free learning does not mean turning our backs on the school system,
But rather: To be present and awake (adult). To give space. To allow silence and even boredom. To observe how our children immerse themselves in play. And then, intrinsically motivated, to try things out with enthusiasm, ask questions, explore, and discover.
This requires patience, dedication, inspiration and, above all, recognition of one’s own ideas, expectations and unconscious conditioning.
Why NOW?
You will never experience a moment other than the present.
